ABOUT CHRISTIE
Christie Panayiotou earned her degree in Physical and Sports Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1999. She is a professional fitness manager specializing in personal training, group fitness as a Les Mills instructor, Pilates, Stott Pilates, and Power Plate. Christie holds a black belt, 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do and 1st Dan in Judo, having won national championships in both disciplines. Additionally, she has been a member of the Cyprus national team.

EARLY STAGES
While pursuing her studies, Christie enhanced her fitness knowledge by taking additional courses at the Greek Aerobic & Training Fitness School, focusing on both personal and group training. After graduating, she worked at the fitness center of Hilton Cyprus, and in 2002, she founded Il Sportivo Health Club in Nicosia.
CAREER START
In 2012, Christie co-founded Absolut Pilates & Fitness Studio, one of the largest personal training studios in Cyprus specializing in Pilates. She has maintained a partnership with Nike for both gyms over the past ten years. Additionally, Christie contributed regularly to various websites, including Fitness Line under Sigmalive and must.com.cy. She has also shared her expertise through fitness tips on several TV shows, such as Madinaction on MadTV Cyprus and Allazo on TVOne.
PRESS RELATIONSHIPS
Christie serves as a Press Relationship Manager for the Pancyprian Association of Science Graduates in Physical Education. Since 2017, she has collaborated with Elpida Tsitsifa, the founder of North Academy of Fitness, on various fitness-related projects.
